- If your asking about the cookie monster cupcakes its the large grass tip.I have discovered that most people use alot of water in getting their icing smooth. I try not to use too much because it cracks the top layer of the icing, the trick is to mix the icing before you ice any cake, then I use a spatula that is immersed in hot water to smooth.
