I started Cake-Decorating-Corner.com in 2007, not thinking the site would amount to much and not really knowing much about websites at the time, but it grew to the point where I really needed to add a more interactive area for cake decorators. I used to feel so bad when people emailed me in the middle of doing a cake when having an emergency and I knew by the time I read the email, it was way too late to help out. I thought this site could be an answer to that dilemma.
I'm so pleased that this site has become not only a place where people help one another, but treat each other with respect and kindness - the kind that has become rarer with the ability to remain anonymous on the internet. It is my hope that this site will continue to grow in ways that will provide more helpful support for cake decorators. I'd like to help new cake decorators grow and assist others in expanding their businesses. I love hearing all your suggestions and hope that this site can be everything you want it to be.
