It really is easier! You can print off an image, adjust it to the size you want, cut it out and use an exacto knife to cut it out of the gumpaste. Let it dry, then come back and finish the details :)

Katy, he's flat. I'm finding when I make characters flat with gumpaste, they're easier than 3-D and I can do more pre use detail. Thank-you everybody! I appreciate the nice compliments :)
