You clever clever lady you - I like it a lot! Have painted roses et al on cakes, but this is something I would love to try my hand at ..... you da bomb.com :-)

Thanks Marci, I first painted the whole cake violet (Bennett's food colour) waited for it to dry then painted the black profile of Jimi Hendrix and then added the black stripes. simple!!!!!!

This looks amazing! Wow! It's truly artwork. Is there anything in particular that you use to paint with? Do you use incing color?

Why don't you give it a try. Start with something simple like a pattern first. . copy it from a card, a piece of material. wrapping paper or even wall paper. .
