Sandra, I've never heard of straining RI?

No I didn't strain it.  I didn't really use a tip for most of it.  I simply made parchment paper bags and cut tiny holes then larger ones depending on what I wanted to do.   I did use a tip for the flowers.

These are just so pretty!  Look like an awfully tiny tip at 1:00...maybe a # 0.  Did you strain your RI through cheesecloth or a stocking?

Thanks Katy.  Didn't want to mix too many colors.  lol

such a wonderful variety of patterns Goreti.  And the pink and green on chocolate biscuits is such a lovely idea.  Great imagination to do a different design on each!  btw I like royal icing and would prefer to pipe with it than bc.

As far as the flavor, it's not exactly the most delicious cookie I've ever tasted.  My daughter seems to like them since she ate some even before I decorated them.  They are chocolaty so I flavored the icing with orange extract.  Nice combination of flavor.

Thanks Bonnie.  I started with the darker pink and then just kept adding white to it, right in the bag which is why you see the different colored petals in some of them.

I love all the different shades you have going here!  Are these 'to die for' chocolate cookies???
