My First Fondant!

I finished my first fondant cake! So much fun! I added a capful of almond flavouring to the store bought wilton fondant in hopes of making it taste better. I didn't think it tasted that bad! I'm making a cake for my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary this weekend and I'm thinking of trying to make MMF. We'll see how much time I have this week! I also have to make 40 fondant roses for my final course #3 cake next week! I'm using store-bought fondant for those, since I have lots left. I already made the bases, so I'll start working on the roses tonight while watching TV! My friends have arranged a cake-eating girls night next Friday- no pressure, though, lol!
