after watching all these beautiful perfect yummy cakes pics I am just speechless although I know my cakes stand no where near these wonderful creations but please keep in mind I am a simple homemake with very little recourses & knowledge I try to make cakes with the ingredients which are mostly the basics . anyway may be one day i will also be able to make such wonderful picture perfect cakes :)

I, as well as many of you, know how difficult it is to make the "butter cream roses". I went on "You Tube" and they had some good samples of how to make them. Just plug it he words "Wilton's Roses" and you will find many videos that may help you out. If I can, I'll try and post one up under "Videos". Good luck and keep baking! :)

I joined Cakes we bake last week and I think it's a great site.
I have been posting a few photographs of my work and I have had some very flattering comments ( which is inspiering!)also it seems that "what are the crowns made of" is a popular question so I have taken this oppotunity to describe how I make a crown topper.
The support as I like to call it (the body of the crown) is usually made from card not just any old card I might add but a high quality product.
