My third cake - white roses final

My final Wilton clasee cake. 15cm square with Choc butter cream and white butter cream roses. Was just a practise cake but I can see this design working on a better cake / tiered cake.

"Hiya, I followed them all 1,2,3 in order. Probably wouldn't worry about the tiered one unless you plan on doing a lot of tiered cakes. Tiers aren't exactly rocket science to learn so if you are debating between the two just do the…"

Wilton cake decorating calsses

Soooo who's done 'em?I'm about to complete Wilton one tonight.  Next should I do fondant and sugarpaste, or the fondant and tiers?  I'm kinda not sure what the tiered one is going to teach me, that would be better than the fondant and sugarpaste one.Any ideas?See More

I don't normally put a fondant cake in the fridge - the moisture in the cake tends to seep into the icing and make it all sticky and wet looking. If you are going to fondant the pieces I would do it one or 2 days before the party and keep the cake in a cool dry place (not the fridge) until needed.
