Anne, it was a rectangular cake, i gave it the shape. You are right, it took me more than 12 hours to do it, out of which 3 were spent on the lamp alone, trying to get the lampshade to stand on its own without touching the base :)

Stunning, is it a round cake or did you give it that shape?  you must have spent a lot of time on it.
