Figures are toys. Cake is marble with vanilla buttercream. Flowers, leaves and lettering are all fondant, but the cake itself is iced in pink buttercream.

Tappits are a set of alphabet cutters.  Really fun to use (albeit a little frustrating sometimes) - I bought them through globalsugarart.com.  And yes, the petal dust stays on the fondant as you kind of "scrub" it in with a soft paintbrush.  I didn't wet it at all.  You can steam the letters once dusted to make sure the color stays on, but in this case I didn't really need to.

Eileen what's tappits??

Also once the fondant dried the petal dust stayed on?  Did you have to wet it slightly at all?

Thanks Meera - I cut them out with my Tappits in yellow and then, when they had hardened up overnight, I dusted the bottom half with orange petal dust.  So easy!!

So pretty...how did you do the dual color on the letters?
