Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi,

I've been asked to make a Frozen Theme cake.  It will be a spiral cake which I have never done.  I do have tuturials though.

My question is, how hard is it and how do you charge for a spiral cake.

It would be two or three tiers.

Thanks. I've included a pic.

That cake is basically a topsy turvy cake. Lots of tutorials on the web for that. Since I've not made a cake like this, I really can't say how hard it would be. And as far as price....depends on so many factors. Your experience, where you live...etc., etc.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful...
Like June says, it's basically a Topsy Turvy.  So if you can do one of those, you can do this.  You have a tutorial you say, so I reckon it should'nt be that difficult.  Again as June says with price, so much depends on what the market will take in your area.  It's a little more challenging than your standard tiered cake, so there has to be a premium for that.  But the basic rules are the same - work out your supplies costs and add your hourly rate according to how long you think it will take you.  Add your profit.
