The inset picture of a Swarovski crystal studded clutch by Judith Lieber was the inspiration for this cake made for a purse-loving birthday gal. I mapped the design on paper, embossed each "crystal" row by row on the fondant with the end of a small piping tip and then painted each one accordingly. Sculpted Orange Pound Cake filled with Baileys buttercream.
