Thanks, Luz...you are too kind!  The sprinkles are a bit of a joke.  I asked Mike to pick me up a bottle of multicolored sprinkles at the grocery a few days ago.  I had in mind the old,

original long shaped ones, but he came home with these beautiful little discs.  Only problem is that I can't use them for my purpose...wrong shape.  Told him that since I couldn't use them he would just have to eat them - lol.  They are pretty sprinkles :o)

Thank you, Denise.  It is a good cake, but I was too lazy to decorate it properly.  I was planning to practice making smooth buttercream, but didn't have enough icing and didn't want to make more.  I was also thinking of trying buttercream ranunculus, but the lazies got me again.  I just used up the icing I had left in the bag, didn't even change the tip, from making the dam around the layers to hold the filling :o)  Lazy people do not make good cake decorators.
