"Rat's A$$" birthday cake
I was hesitant to post this cake b/c I wasn't sure if it would be too
offensive. After thinking about it I decided "Hey what the heck, go for
it". And everyone here seems to have a healthy sense of humor. The things people want on their cakes huh? I actually think it came out pretty good for my 1st ever "Rat's A$$" cake...lol

Katy, this is another attempt at hand painting on fondant again. I will say it again, I'm no artist but I did want the fur to look somewhat realistic so being the avid diy-er that I am, I googled how to paint animal fur & found this, "Painting Realistic Animals: 4 Key Tips for Painting Fur" on Craftsy. It's no where near as good as what a trained, seasoned artist can do but it worked well enough for this. Thanks Sandra. This was certainly the most unique cake decorating experience I've ever had.
