Spongebob Under the Sea - TOPSY14F
8" and 10" 2 tier carved topsy turvy cake, with tapered sides, covered in blue buttercream icing, secured by a center dowel (cake had to travel 25 miles) for a 1st birthday. French vanilla with raspberry filling. Spongebob is formed from Ric Krispy treats, covered in a fondant/gum paste mixture. Colorful seaweed, coral, shells, pineapple house, Patrick, Gary and sign are also made of either colored fondant or fondant/gum paste mixture. A flat base was cut/carved out of the bottom tier so the top tier had a flat surface to sit on and crushed graham crackers made the and on the board.
