David Austin rose (also known as My Granny in S.A)
This is my favorite rose. We call it My Granny in South Africa. I used it for my mothers 79th birthday cake. She loves pearls and her favorite brooch has always been a cameo. The cake was rose flavored with rose flavored fresh cream, covered with butter cream.

I started to comment before, on the other picture, but when you mentioned a rose, I waited to see it. And am glad I did. This is quite stunning! I love the center! And the leaves. Painting the filigree is chic. And my mom also loved cameos, and pearls. This is a grand ole cake!
