Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This is for my great-nephew's 16th birthday. Can't seem to get motivated to decorate a cake so an easy drip cake will have to do. Chocolate gateau filled with cherries and mascarpone with chocolate ganache drip.

Thank you Wendy & Bonnie.  Bonnie, this is for you http://www.frankie.com.au/blogs/food/frankie-fodder-raspberry-swirl....  I didn't think he would have appreciated pink and I used a mix of different freeze dried fruits.  Used good quality chocolate and am I glad that I only made 1/2.  Ate a little too much.  Also the meringues I flavored with orange zest and a little preserves.  Soooo yummy

Thank you all.  It is really delicious.  The chocolate diamonds are really tasty too.  It has some orange zest and freeze dried fruit.  Left most of it for the kids cause I don't want to have it at home.  The meringues were really good too and I did the same with them.

I love this recipe and I love you presentation!  This cake is decorated, just not with fondant and gum paste and beautiful just the way it is!
