I don't know.  I rolled the gum paste (or whatever I used???) very thin, but didn't have an issue with air bubbles.

How do you do that without making her too thick or getting air bubbles between layers?

Thank you for all of your kind words, Becky.  Oh, there are plenty of flaws.  Aside from wanting to get a more realistic look, I have tons of trouble with keeping the fondant smooth.  I actually added a layer of "skin" to her body to make it smooth.

I don't see one flaw! She is beautiful. Wish I could make people figures that look this good. I always have issues with hair and the mouth :(. Love all the details you put into this.

Goreti, I had such a hard time with the Beatles, I wanted to try a woman.  I did this face a good while ago while watching TV.  I didn't add hair and just left it on the chopstick until I decided what I wanted to do with it.  It is full of cracks and flaws.  Can't seem to get a nice smooth look like everyone else.
