does anyone use a pasta machine to make level sheets of fondant? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Works great? Waste of money? Been looking for an inexpensive one.

I bought a used Kitchen Aid attachment on Ebay. It's definitely worthwhile for various gum paste decorations. It won't give you the width needed for covering cakes. 

Thanks, Theresa!  Forehead slap!!  I've been thinking about a pasta roller for my KA and (even though I've used it a bunch) never thought of eBay - LOL.  That pasta roller is so mine :o)

most of them are quite pricey! I did bid on one, maybe we are bidding against each other Sandra LOL
