Always fun to try and do something different for your
own birthday. Sitting on top of cake is a piped R I
collar with piped R I circle medallions attached. Dark

Thanks Sandra & Katy

Thanks Bonnie. Good old baking soda Bonnie, works every time to set the colours. But I did paint on extra purple with colour gel & alcohol. I love piping, I get in the "zone". Relaxes me. I didn't add a smidge of corn syrup to my RI this tine, and I found it didn't pipe as nicely, and dried with a hard, flat finish.

Happy birthday Hon!!  OOOOH, I love this collar!  Can't wait to try one!!  And you managed to keep your fondant purple too.  Mine quickly turns gray any time I don't use purple Cool-aid.  You have sooo many different piping patterns, I love them ALL!!  The 9 yr. old from next door is in my kitchen using up all my RI right now, practicing her string work. lol  And she did an entire row that stayed put!
