That was the greatest compliment of all from your son!  Guess you know what to do for his birthday :o)  You certainly did achieve an elegant and sophisticated Star Wars cake and I would not have believed it possible.

Thank you Goreti & Gal. Sandra, they both loved it. All the groomsmen thought it was very cool. Lots of compliments from the guests too on both looks & taste. I had made a "Star Wars" for this same nephew for his 37th bd a year or 2 ago. Wanted this one to be more sophisticated & grown up than the 1st one. Think I accomplished that. My oldest son, who just turned 40, commented "it's awesome in its simplicity" & also added "GASP!!! I WANT THAT CAKE!!! LOL...boys, they never grow up.

Oh, I can see the "stars" on this one Denise.  This is such a cool cake!  Tell us about the groom's & bride's reaction when they saw it.
