Bonny I will take some photos to show step by step, how I make my large roses. Yes, you are right they are not very deep.

A tutorial, in DETAIL, would be nice!  I need all the help I can get!  I really, I mean REALLY, love these roses!  And the way you are holding it in your hand, makes it look 'not too deep', if you know what I mean, and that is not how I was taught, To have a big bulbus old base(lol), so I definitely need more teaching!
