I am by no means a professional! I used to love when my mom made my birthday cakes when I was a child. I started playing around with making cakes a little over year ago. I really just make them for close friends so I can get some practice! lol I married the man of my dreams this past April in 2009, and I've been a nurse for 5+ years working in the Nurology ICU... Needless to say I have a lot of patients, which helps with the tedious tasks of decorating cakes! My favorite types of cakes to make are halloween cakes and cakes you have to build/carve. You seem to be able to hide your mistakes better! lol Anyhow, I'm still have a LOT to learn so tips are definately appreciated!

Welcome to our cake family!!!!!! Congratulations on your marriage!!!!!!!! I married my dream man 19 years ago. This year will be our 20th. We were together for 4 years before so it will be our 25th this year, if all the years are counted LOL (I am making our anniv. cake LOL) We have 2 sons' one is 18 and the other is 15. I've been a caker for a long time. I want to thank you for your work as a nurse. I feel that nurses are great people. I have a sister in law that is a nurse in the OR and I also have a great friend that is a nurse also. Nurses are not appreciated enough and most of the time they know more than the doctors. And I just want to thank you for helping people. If I can help with cake tips or hints just let me know. Doing cakes is a great stress releiver. So, have a great time!!!!!!!!!!
