Comment by Linda Wolff on October 28, 2012 at 5:33pm We had to clip the corners and throw out the whole line when Jonathan and David sold the line to someone else, Gail, so I took them all home and used for crafty things for years. Had hundreds of those cards. I still have around 30 or 40 left, but I just can't seem to find them!
I SOLD them precious moments in my florist , you did an awesome job LINDA
Comment by Linda Wolff on October 28, 2012 at 5:15pm Gail, I will. give me a few days to write a blog post with the recipe. And June, I would have used a card and even have old Jonathan and David discontinued Precious Moments cards here in my house somewhere from when I used to work in a Christian Book store, but for the life of me, I couldn't find those darn cards! Since having these grand-kids move in with us, all of my stuff has been shoved into areas where I can't find my stash of crafty stuff. That's the only reason I ended up making my own. =O(

Comment by Linda Wolff on October 28, 2012 at 10:52am This is that spice cake using that caramel milk stuff we were talking about in my flavoring thread. I used a good portion of the caramel in the cake and then used the rest in the icing as a flavoring too. The Precious Moments figure was made with gum paste. No, I did not use an icing image, June, I cut the clothing out of pink gum paste and gum paste glued it on, then I cut the hands out of flesh, the hair out of yellow, and glued them on along with the lambs, and I free handed the face and the lines using a liner brush and black food paste color mixed with alcohol. Then I gum paste glued all the flowers on the body.
