Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

My very first peonie, learnt from online class on craftsy by Nicholas Lodge - an excellent lesson! Never seen one in real life :-) anyway, cake was vanilla, filled with pecan praline, crumb coated in chocolate ganache and finally covered in ivory coloured fondant.  As it is a south couple, I included some indigenous foliage also dusted in gold and steamed and the end result was quite charming.  And straight! Hehehe (those of u who know my posts will recall I have had some challenges in getting straight cakes)
