I think that may be the answer Monica.  I had the same problem with one I uploaded from my Android and Luz Iglesias offered this advice (haven't tried it yet) - 

About your picture, the same thing happened to me when I first tried to post my Topsy Turvey cake pictures that I took with my cellphone, I do it all the time but this time they came out flat, so I deleted them and what I did was that when I sent them to my e-mail address from my cellphone I changed the option my cellphone gives about the size of the picture, it always says "original" so I changed it to "medium size", because the were to big for the screen.  I am sure your tablet has a similar option.  Maybe this will help.
