Free form roses, spider mum, decorative grass--Vase is a styrofoam block covered in gumpaste. Recently received a package that used a couple of them and decided to save them "just in case".

So beautiful Goreti, but then your flowers are always so beautiful.

Gail, if you do, let me know what you think.  I feel like there was a definite improvement in my roses once I started doing this.  Also found it much easier to place the petals the way I wanted to.

Gail, I let them dry a little bit on the spoons. You curl  the edges a little bit and keep the petals on the spoon until  they are a little stiff but still pliable. They maintain their shape better that way and easier to put together.  Like this http://cakesdecor.com/entries/466-cream-icing-rose-how-i-make-mine
