This was my first try at a sculptured deer. It was created for a benefit and auctioned off. the base cake ia a white 9 x 13 cake with buttercream icing. The deer is white cake and all edible except the antlers. They are fondant on a wire frame. The deer is covered in fondant. The leaves are also fondant cut out with a cutter, dried and laid out to create different shapes to look real and then airbrushed. There are acorns around the cake and on all 4 corners. There is a sign on the right side in back of the deer. It reads: "No Hunting Allowed". The "No" was Xed out to read;"Hunting Allowed". The sign also has arrows stickng into it. The cake did well at the auction.
