Chrysanthemum Cupcakes - 729F

My daughter, Lorelai, Age 8, cut mini marshmallows in half diagonally and dipped the sticky part in colored sugar to create the petal effect. The petals were then placed on a simple frosted cupcake and the centers were filled with large dark sprinkles. She won 2nd place at our fair this year with these cupcakes.
