Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I made this cake for a Sweet 16 birthday party that had a Mardi Gras theme. The red velvet cake had cream cheese filling and was made from scratch. Each tier was stacked and sculpted to provide the guests with as much cake to eat as possible. It was covered entirely with fondant. The mask and feathers were the only non-edible parts. It was a huge success at the party.
