Hi there, I'm based in Hillcrest, KZN and have turned a hobby into a business having been unemployed since March (I do work part-time at Bootcamp SA but it's only a few hours a month).

It's great to see other SA bakers out here on the www. Some of you have mentioned guilds. They have guilds for cake bakers? Wow!

I can't wait to see and here more.

Hi Lee-Ann. Where do you get your plastic icing here? I moved from JHB to KZN at the beginning of the year and really struggled to find good cake decorators shops.

I would also love to know more about local guilds.
