I guess it could done with plain colored purchased icing sheets when a design is not needed or if you don't have a edibe images printer.

Permalink Reply by Icing Images on September 15, 2012 at 10:41pm Hi Sandra, it is that easy. Teris video really does show how simple it is. My 12 year old works with the isomalt and the Icing Images without any trouble. You are right, there are precolored sheets that we sell in our premium brand that will hold up under the heat of the isomalt. Not all icing sheets can hold up to the heat, but the Premium Icing Images Sheets which come in color, white and a new pearl luster all will hold up just fine.

Permalink Reply by Sandi Newsome on September 17, 2012 at 10:13pm That's good except I understand they still are not available.
Permalink Reply by Icing Images on September 19, 2012 at 6:53am I dont know the status of the heat gun, Those are from a different company. But melting the isomalt sticks or nuggets in a measuring cup like Teri shows works just as well for a lot less money
