Hi - Does anyone here sell their cakes as a home baker? I am just wondering what the Australian standards involved in that are? Do you need to register with the Food Safety people or something? I have had people say I should do it as a business and am wondering if that is too much of a headache? I have liability insurance but is that different? Would love to hear what you ladies do?
I'm interested in buying pre-loved Cake decorating books for Beginner's......
Anyone selling their books, PM me!!!
Thank you...

Comment by Angela on February 22, 2011 at 7:20pm Thanks Karen, how does the kitty litter go when the flowers may be eaten.
Wierd weather here, was hot and humid the past week, now its quite cool, so a good day for practising flowers.
Comment by Angela on February 22, 2011 at 2:56am Hi all,
Whats the best way of storing flowers once they are made. Have seen various ways on the net. Main thing is the humidity. Some I've made have gone mouldy when I kept them is a styrofoam box. Cushioned on paper towells and covered plastic box. Any advice welcome.
Comment by Bettina Dwyer on February 13, 2011 at 5:24am Hi Danielle,
I too have bought most of my cake tins form op shops and garage sales. I have only bought one tin and that was a Fat Daddios 35cm pan (about $26) from Spotlight.
