can you use this as a cake filling?

when you use this for wedding cake can you cover it with fondant,and would you exclude the marzipan,i want to do a 3 tier red velvet cake but i'm worried about it sagging without marzipan(almond paste)

 Yes, I have. This makes a great filling.

You would have to ask Lisa Seiple, I got this recipe from her. She may can answer this for you.

i am asking  the same as debbie is this enough for a 3 tier cake,and do you think almond paste would go well with it x
