Hello, I'm trying to tweak a receipe for an almond cake. I wish to infuse more almond flavor into the cake. What is your opinion - Do you think using almond paste as well as a little bit of almond extract be too much almond flavor?
I've never used Almond Paste, but I always add at least twice as much extract as the recipe calls for, sometimes more. I love the flavor of almond and generally add a lesser amount of vanilla, as well.
