<p>I checked back thought the past recipes here and didn't see a pound cake with pineapple listed, so here's a recipe I've used for years. It's moist and delicious. Hope you'll try it. This cake starts out in a cold oven (325 degrees)</p>

3 cups all-purpose flour<br></br>
1 teaspoon baking powder<br></br>

<p>1/2 cup vegetable oil<br/> 2 sticks butter<br/>
2 & 3/4 cup sugar<br/>
6 large eggs<br/>
3 cups all-purpose flour<br/>
1 teaspoon baking powder<br/>
1/4 cup milk<br/>
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br/>
3/4 cup CRUSHED pineapple plus juice (do not drain)</p>
<p>Cream sugar, butter, add oil and eggs, mix well.<br/> Stir in sifted flour & baking powder along with milk, add vanilla. <br/>
(Do not over beat) Stir in crushed pineapple with juice. Mix well.<br/>
Grease & flour 10" tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 & 1/2 hours.</p>
<p>TOPPING;<br/> 1/2 stick butter<br/>
1 & 1/2 cups powdered sugar<br/>
1 cup DRAINED crushed pineapple<br/>
Mix and pour over HOT cake</p>
