Kathleen Lange has become known as one of the world’s few masters of the Lambeth method. In this series of Sweet Wise classes, Kathleen will be showing highlights from the most exquisite design work; known as the Old-World Joseph Lambeth Method.

Lambeth Method 101 will begin your training with the basic skills required to doLambeth work. Students will be learning how to apply intricate, dimensional, over pipingtechniques on their own fondant covered cake dummy, along with practice boards.Kathleen will be covering as many techniques from this exquisite design work as timeallows. (Lambeth is a unique technique and very time consuming)
Students attending 101, 201 or both will be learning: • to be exact with every squeeze of their decorating bag • how to hold the bag and tips properly • how to master the perfect zigzag shell, scroll, swag and puffs borders • 3 dimensional over-piping techniques • string work • pearl borders • how to apply string work • how to make a ring border with trellis • lattice cushion work • lace work - all of which will be added to your cakes!
